focus on true performance

Mystic is our two-liner EN-C glider inheriting Flow’s racing pedigree. Meticulously engineered with a focus on true performance, it is lightweight and durable. We opted to use Skytex 27 Classic 2 throughout the glider (externally and internally) which offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring ease of use, durability, and practicality.

Incorporating our latest-generation shark nose airfoil with a completely redesigned section and bottom camber, it provides unparalleled comfort in flight and aerodymics. This allows pilots to confidently push the glider to its limits, enabling them to concentrate fully on the surrounding airmass and aerology. Its compact aspect ratio and light 2-liner rear riser steering feel give an unmatched connection between the glider and pilot — to the extent that one can feel as one with the Mystic.

Landing the Mystic is easy, the new airfoil allows pilots to slow the glider down incredibly easily, finding the smallest spot to land with plenty of warning and control about the stall speed.

Tailored for pilots engaged in X-Alps-type competitions or participating in the SRS series, the Mystic can turn into a real racing machine. It is also naturally the perfect everyday glider due to its carefree nature and easy handling. For some pilots it can be the perfect glider for a relaxing afternoon soar while for others it will be the glider they use to win competitions.

Nitinol rods are strategically integrated into its construction allowing for easy compression and compact packing. The Nitinol rods and internal structure give the Mystic extremely easy inflation characteristics, allowing pilots to launch with confidence from tricky launches.

The use of cutting-edge materials from the industry ensures that Mystic delivers both an enjoyable and easy flying experience, all while maintaining class-leading performance.

EN C 2-LINER

A 2-liner layout is the ideal line configuration in a paraglider, offering a balance of efficiency and ease of use for intermediate to advanced pilots. This technology significantly enhances the glider’s performance, improving several key aspects, including:

  • Reduced drag for better glide
  • Greater control during accelerated flight
  • Improved overall efficiency
  • Higher top-end speed
  • Increased stability at all speeds

MYSTIC SHARK NOSE

Mystic has a dedicated Shark Nose airfoil.

Thanks to the nature of this airfoil, we were able to trim the Mystic differently from other wings in our lineup. This allowed us to incorporate more twist and washout, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency and enabling faster trimming towards the outer third of the wing, near the tips.

This new canopy twist gives the Mystic an incredibly fun and playful handling, making it highly agile and responsive in turns. Tight turns and centering in thermals are noticeably easier with the Mystic.

Unlike other designs, the Mystic doesn’t require a high arc. We used a flatter arc but maximized the chordwise twist, resulting in a unique handling experience that’s exclusive to the Mystic.

This is a unique shark nose airfoil that delivers exceptional solidity, especially at low angles of attack. In fact, it is incredibly difficult to forcefully collapse this glider, which is why only the size S was able to be certified. To certify the other sizes, we would have had to compromise too much on the glider’s core design elements. As a result, the other sizes will feature a different airfoil and design

3D CUT OPTIMIZATION AND ADVANCED SAIL TENSIONING

The Mystic is designed to be a lightweight yet durable glider, with internal geometry carefully engineered to provide optimal structural support without adding unnecessary weight. Each panel and diagonal has been precisely sized and analyzed using advanced computer modeling to achieve the perfect balance of chord and span -wise sail tension. This meticulous design minimizes spanwise distortion, resulting in a canopy that feels tighter and more responsive. The sail’s flex characteristics are finely tuned to deliver ideal feedback.

A well-tensioned sail is essential for giving pilots the precise feedback needed to understand the surrounding air dynamics. This is especially important when flying through thermals, where detecting subtle changes in lift and sink is key to finding and staying in the core for longer.

NEW RACING ARC

The Mystic’s ARC design was created to blend excellent handling, high performance and line efficiency in perfect harmony. It offers exceptional roll authority, making thermaling and centering in lift easier. With increased aerodynamic washout near the tips, it optimizes the glide and improves roll stability at higher speeds. This innovative arc inspired by our high-performance gliders, delivers a performance-driven experience while reducing line consumption. All without sacrificing the Mystic’s signature smooth handling.
